SSEHV Workshop “Who Am I?” presented to immigrant high school students at an International High School in Cincinnati Ohio.
The Institute of Sathya Sai Education-USA (ISSE-USA) was invited by a classroom teacher to present a talk on human values to his approximately 20 immigrant high school students at an International High School in Cincinnati Ohio. This group of students were very responsive and interactive during the Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV) workshop, “Who Am I?”. They surrounded the presenters after the presentation and asked if they could come back to continue talking with them about the human values and how they relate to their lives. They stated how much they had learned and thanked us profusely for taking time to be with them.
One of the students was selected to go to Washington, DC to share her experience as an immigrant and is a scholar. After the presentation, she said “Sathya Sai Education in Human Values is what is needed the most and something we haven’t had access to before your sharing this with us. More listening and guiding with these values on an ongoing basis are what is needed as a support system. It’s made all the difference.”
